Taking payment - PayPal

PayPal is one of the preferred payment processors because they are well known and trusted by your customers.

You need to have a PayPal account in the name of your club and if you are a registered charity or CIO you will pay a lower processing fee, currently 20p + 1.4% for each transaction.

Your customer may not have a PayPal account but when arriving at the PayPal login screen will have the option of simply paying by Credit Card or Debit Card.

In order for our system to communicate with PayPal you will need to create API credentials.

Once you login to PayPal you will see the following when you go to the Activity menu - select API access

On the page that opens, scroll down and select Create API credentials or Manage API credentials under the NVP/SOAP API integration (Classic) heading

The API Username, API Password and Signature may be created or viewed and then entered into our Control File by your Admin user.
